The Salvia Garden Group, a part of the Herb Society of S.A. hold two Salvia Sale Days at Urrbrae High School Skills Centre each year. One in April and one in November. The sale days have proved to be very popular as up to 2000 quality plants are sold on each of the days.

New varieties are introduced at this time and most salvias are waterwise. Some gardeners come from as far away as Snowtown and Waikerie and as most of the named varieties are sold by mid morning it pays to get to the sale days early.
