This special day held on the first Sunday of EVERY November is a wonderful opportunity to socialise, exchange information, sell products, buy products, promote businesses, learn something new about herbs, support the Herb Society, and especially; a day not to be missed.
Every year we seem to have wonderful weather, even though predictions beforehand give us concern.
The Raffle
The Raffle this year consisted of 16 prizes kindly donated by many people and business including the SA Composters and, as usual, was well patronised. Congratulations to all the winners and THANKYOU again to all prize donors.
Stall, Displays and More
The Herb Society had a Book Stall,
the usual identification Display of Herbs - a wonderful and unique collection for people to increase their knowledge about many of the herbs available to use, AND
of course The Kitchen with its unique menu and efficient staff who no matter the number of customers always keep serving time to a minimum. A SPECIAL THANKYOU to All volunteers who worked on behalf of the Herb Society.
Stalls selling anything and everything related to gardening and herbs complement the plant stalls selling common to the more exotic herbs.
The Herb Day provides everyone with the opportunity to access a wide range of herbs and gardening related information and products and by the time we had time to take some photos most of day was over. A busy and rewarding day for all. See you the first Sunday in November 2009.
